Dr. Neena Petersen
Physical Therapist
Neena is the founder and owner of Peak Balance Physical Therapy, a clinic specializing in the treatment of scoliosis and kyphosis. As a licensed Physical Therapist, Neena has worked across diverse settings, including acute hospital care, home health, and outpatient orthopedics. This broad experience has given her a deep understanding of recovery at every stage and a commitment to helping patients restore quality movement and function in their daily lives.
Neena’s passion for scoliosis treatment began when her own daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis. Navigating that journey as both a mother and clinician opened her eyes to the complexities of spinal abnormalities and the need for specialized, evidence-based care. To deepen her expertise, she completed advanced training through Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS–North America), gaining comprehensive knowledge in treating scoliosis and kyphosis effectively and safely.
Through her personal and professional experiences, Neena recognized a widespread need for therapists skilled in scoliosis-specific rehabilitation. With that insight, she founded Peak Balance Physical Therapy to provide individualized care and empower patients and families with confidence, education, and movement strategies that support lifelong spinal health.
